Tyrrells furniture started business in 1902 in Motherwell. In 1934 Jimmy Tyrrell Snr opened a business in Burnbank, Hamilton not far from the present site. Jimmy Tyrrell Jnr joined the business in 1957 and together they built a tremendous clientele based on recommendations and repeat business. In later years Jimmy’s sons James and John joined the business and now we have a tremendous team taking the business from strength to strength. You are greeted by an unassuming shop front which does little to give away the wonderful treasures which are available to you when you go through the door. Tyrrells are proud to be a carpet foundation registered specialist adhering to the office of fair trading code of practice.
